What To Expect
Leaving the starting point we will go into the Spiegelgracht and Prinsengracht. Once in the Prinsengracht we will pass the Amstelveld and houseboat area heading down to the river Amstel. Turning left in the river we will pass the famous Skinny Bridge and see the Amstel locks. Next we will see the Rembrandt corner, where the painter spend the first years of his life in Amsterdam. After the dancing houses we will go into the Herengracht to see how the rich traders of the 17th century lived. Turning left into the famous 7 bridges down to the Keizersgracht into the Jordaan neighborhood. After this area we will start moving back to where we started.

We had a fantastic 2 hour experience exploring the center of Amsterdam from the water. The boat Delphine is very charming and it has a roof that can partly be openend which is very convenient with nice weather. It has an electrical motor so very quiet and peaceful. Skipper Vanessa is very relaxed and flexible and the communication before was very adequate and helpful. A perfect experience!

Skipper Hans and historian Vanessa were wonderful. The 100 year old boat is beautiful, neat and tidy. We were given a personal tour of the canals in Amsterdam and Vanessa pointed out many beautiful homes and their history. Wonderful experience with great people.
